- 誰制定 C-TPAT：美國國土安全部海關邊境保護局 （US Customs and Border Protection，簡稱 CBP )
- 為何需要 C-TPAT ： 在911事件後，CBP 希望能與相關業界合作建立供應鏈安全管理系統，以確保供應鏈從起點到終點的運輸安全、安全訊息及貨況的流通，最終阻止恐怖份子。

使用 SVI / SVIP ，查詢 C-TPAT 認證狀態
- SVI ：狀態確認互聯網使用者介面 ( Status Verification Interface , 簡稱 SVI )。是一套由美國國土安全部海關邊境保護局 （US Customs and Border Protection，簡稱 CBP )所建置的網頁。提供 C-TPAT 反恐驗證申請者，查詢 C-TPAT 認證狀態與類別。
- SVIP：狀態確認互聯網使用者介面參與者 （Status Verification Interface Participant , 簡稱 SVIP )。如果企業屬於 SVI 參與者，可以通過 CBP 網站，查驗另一個 SVIP 的認證狀態。
- SVIP ID：每一個 SVIP 都會有至少一個ID號碼，可登陸 CBP 網站，用來提供給你的客戶，以證明自己的C-TPAT狀態。
